"San Guglielmone" is the name of an ancient barn which has been carefully restored. Embedded within the mellow, hilly district of the Siena countryside,you will discover a croft where nature, peace and quiet all tend to predominate.

This area combines two, famous historical and agricultural environments: those of the Chianti and of the Crete landscapes. "San Guglielmone" was once, in past times,part of a farm called "Pacina", the centre of all those agricultural activities which stemmed from the historical form of the Siena "mezzadria" (share-farming);at its core was the barn, a vital part of the farm itself. Even though the barn has been fully modernized, it is still functioning today, producing -above all- wine and olive oil.
